THe purpose of this thread is to get people ideas about their website/forum/blog theme(theme=travel, music, web resource, web design , entertainment etc etc etc)

So what do you think the best theme for your site/forum/blog? If you dont have one at the moment..then which theme you will use in your first website? and why?

It's important that whatever your site is about it should be a subject that you know a reasonable amount about and a subject in which you feel you can write a decent amount of quality, unique and useful information around.

If people do that there is no reason they can't create a good popular site about any subject.

Graphics help with the theme of the websites, especially on the welcome page. One website theme is Native American/Western the other website theme is on the Sea. On the various link pages, such as the humor link page, looks like a humor page with a background and a graphic on the top to represent humor. Maintaining these two websites is time consuming and a lot of work, my opinion is to try and make the pages interesting where people will want to come back to the site.

Photoshop effects. I already have one that teaches Photoshop effects that I want to redeisign and expand.

i have webspace etc and want to make a site
but dont really have a goal. i would like to have a site with photo galleries and member area, and games and alsorts really but i dont know what to base it on. i dont have a goal on whatt i want it to be about so can people please tell me what they want from a site?. to give me some idea of what ppl want.

You have a great start, Dan, people like photographs, games, members area where they can come together for conversation. Educational links are great too. Maybe pick a theme/goal on something you like, a hobby, sport, ect. One very young man that I know of picked jokes/humor as his theme, you can also submit your own joke on his website with credit from the submitter. Another thought, perhaps do some surfing to see what others are doing, sometimes when I am stuck I surf.

P.S. I just flossed, so there is nothing in my teeth!
