Hi, im quite new and am wondering how you know when someone has done talkupation for you (other than them telling you) and like what the say and stuff?
can anyone explain?

When someone gives you talkupation you should see it appear when you first go to your control panel. A list of recent talkupation should be there. It'll show the thread where it was give, the date given, who gave it to you, and any comment they may have left. The total talkupation you have should appear above and to the right of the list.

I went to my control panel and it just says like not subscibed threads (unless i click view all) and dosnt't say anything about talkupation but it dose however say i have talkuppation: 10 when i hover over talkupation on a post i have done? any ideas?

10 is what you start out with. That means no one has approved anything you said as useful, nor have they disapproved. It means...well, at this point, you've said nothing to help and nothing to hurt. It's almost like you've said nothing at all.

If you want to get TP, the best thing you can do is answer people's questions in such a way as to solve their problems. This usually works about 40-50% of the time, I find.
