Hello, I didn't know what other category this went under.. If it's in the wrong place, please move it to the correct one..

OK.. Now.. Here's the thing.. I will be opening a new site withing the next month or so, but I don't have a privacy policy for it yet. I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in helping with this, or if you know of a free, standard policy on any websites.. Any help would be much appreciated.

*The new site will be named WFC Designs and will have Abstract and 3D Abstract wallpapers both for sale and up for freebies. There will also be other images free for personal use, and I will be taking submissions for sale and/or for the freebie section. I would need a policy that matches the site and is as secure as possible.

Thanks in advance to anyone here who can help me out..

I don't think you need to look for a standardized privacy policy. In fact I think simpler is better. For my own I just looked at a few other sites to give me some ideas about what I might include and then just wrote a page as clear as I could about how I will respect the privacy of my visitors.

I think the best thing to do is look at a few sites and collect the policies you like. Then write your own based on what you did and didn't like in the others.

The privacy policy is less a legal statement and more a way to let your visitors know what goes on at your site and how you will protect their privacy.

I don't know of any "standard".

You are welcome to use this one for inspiration. Please do not copy it verbatim. Change at least a few words and sentences.
