Their are far to many CMS's to try out and still have time to make a website, so Im just going to ask people with expereance in the subject. If you think you know of a CMS (Or other type of program) that can fit my needs post your ideas. I know very little about CMS's, but can use HTML good and I am learning PHP.

Main things im looking for in a CMS:
- Link up forum, gallery, site username databases so if you sign-up, an account will work for all the different parts of my site.
- Easily customizeable template. I want to be able to make the CMS look like the HTML site I created, but with more to it.
- Allow admins with the proper mask to be able to edit pages on the site, but also allow the editing to be coded using PHP and HTML.

If you are just doing articles... Wordpress would be great for that. But from what you wrote.. Xoops with plenty of plugins/modules will fit the bill. What do you intend to do with it? Let's share... maybe I can give you a helping hand.

Im not doing any articles (at least stuff that is truely considered articles.) I want to be able to do all the stuff I listed previously. I am trying to have a community website with many different programs, which will contain the features of the entire site and allow many of the people who come to the website to change or add stuff themselves (MediaWiki & Gallery which has been modified.) When they login to the CMS they will also be logged into their accounts on all parts of the website. Then allow my staff to manage parts of my website, without me having to upload every change they do. So I want stuff easily editable for the staff and to be able to give staff members access to modify certian things.

Definitely check out Drupal. I discovered it a few months ago and have converted almost all of my sites to use it.

I had used WordPress prior to Drupal, but Wordpress is primarily just a blogging framework, whereas Drupal has blogging, forums, the works. Here's a discussion comparing the two frameworks.

Here are several Drupal templates that are easy to install, and here's a helpful tutorial on how to install Drupal.
