LOL i copied this from a post i did the other day

Quote:
Ok please NO-ONE take offense at this...

Most people would consider people on here as Computer Geeks and Nerds, who live sad lives... But most of us have one HELL of a sense of humor!...

" 'ello, i wish to register a complaint... 'ello miss?...
"what do you mean miss?"

'o im sorry i have a cold.

I wish to make a complaint.

Sorry we're closing for lunch.

never mind that my lad i wish to complain about this parrot i purchesed not half 'n hour ago from this very boutique.

'oh yes the norwigen blue what's wrong with it?

I'll tell you what's wrong with it, It's Dead. That's what's wrong with it.

Nah Nah... it's restin' look!

Look my lad i know a dead parrot when i see one and im lookin at one right now.

nah nah it's not dead its restin'

remarkable bird the norwigen blue, beautiful plumage in'it

The plumage don't enter into it. It's stone dead.

Nah no it's restin'

All right if its resting ill wake it up! ELLO POLLY IV'E GOT A NICE CUTTLE FISH FOR YOU WHEN YOU WAKE UP POLLY PARROT!!

There it moved.

no it didnt That was you pushing the cage.

i did not.

yes you did!

HELLO POLLY, POLLLLY! [bangs parrot on counter] Now thats what i call a dead parrot.

nah nah it's stunned!

look my lad ive had just about enough of this!
That parrot is deffinately deciesed, and when i bought it not half an hour ago, you esured me that its lack of movement was due to it being tired and shagged out after a long squark.

Its probbally pinning for the fields.

PINNIG FOR THE FIELDS WHAT KIND OF TALK IS THAT?!

the norwigen blue prefers kippin' on its back. its a beautiful bird loverly plumage

Look i took the liberty of examining that parrot only to discoverd that the only reson that it had been sitting on it's purch in the first place was that it had been nailed there.

ofcourse it was nailed there otherwise it would hav' mussled up to them bars a VOOM!

Look matey, This parrot wouldn't "VOOM" if you put 4000 volts through it! IT's Bleeding demised.

It's not it's PINING.

It's not pining it's PASSED ON. this parrot is no MORE! It has Cesed to be! it's expired and gone to meet its maker! This is a late parrot! ITS A STIFF! berifed of life, it rest in peace if you haddnt nailed it to the purch it would be pushing up the daisy's! its flown the curtin and joined the choir invisble.

THIS IS A EX-PAROT!!!

Well i beta replace it then.

If you want to get anything don in this country you have to complain until your blue in the mouth!

Sorry gov we're right out of parrots.

O i see, i see, i get the picture.

I've got a slug...

Can it talk?

Not really no...

Then its scaresly a replacement then. is it.

I'll tell you what... if you go to my brothers pet shop in bolton, he'll replace your parrot for ya...

Bolton 'ah?... alright.

i cant be botherd to do the whole sketch! man im sad... i did most of that from memory.

Okay... Just incase someone lives on a dessert island (with internet access?...) The above sketch is the famous monty python "Parrot Sketch" preformed by John cleese as the customer

Dan
Lol man am i sad.

I remember seeing the first BBC Python shows in TV when I was a kid, made me laugh then and still does. How many times in the middle of a conversation does someone break into Python mode?

Life of Brian has to be my favourite, every second is pure genius and to my mind their pinnacle of achievent.

Picking a favourite scene is hard there are so many.

i really wnted to see spamalot but it was too expensive... same from what i heard eric idle (my fav pythn for the record) did a fantastic job of re-writing holy grail for the stage.

Test: Does anyone know why eric idle re-wrote holy grail?

I just love The Life of Brian and also The Holy Grail.

Best line: "Where is the fetus going to gestate... are you going to keep it in a box?"

There are so many great lines - too many to mention.
