Hello everyone;
After trying to use Linux then Ubuntu w/ an Apache server for some time now I gave up ... it's just too complicated for me and not much interface (you need to enter commands for anything almost)... and privileges... and setting that get overwritten sometimes by themselves... I just couldn't make it at my level.
So I guess I'm stuck with Windows. My questions are about security :

1- Does anyone know a nice book/tutorial that talks about security and servers and networks with basics and not too much details (something for dummies ...)

2- If I have a network and 2 computers, is there some way to configure one computer as a server so that if it happens that the computer with the server gets hacked they can't access or damage or hack other computers with personal files ?

3- What is the best HTTP server in your opinion ? (if I'm looking for something with good security and interface - user-friendly)
Thanks a lot for your help,
Ahmed M
