What does it take to become a MOD on WT?...

We recently added some moderators here. The current staff hand picked these mods. But, if you are reallly interested in becoming a mod, you should ask an administrator. PM them and tell them you are interested. Tell them which areas you are interested in moderating and what kind of experience you have in those areas. Also, you need to have been a member for a while and have made some good quality posts. Im not sure if we are accepting any more mods right now since we just added some more, but you can ask. Also, just think about the future. Work on the things you post and work on your reputation here. If we arent accepting mods now, we will be sometime in the future, so just keep on trying.

I'm a Mod on another Forum; our feelings on that Forum are, you need to have extensive experience and knowledge in numerous areas, not to mention excellent communication / spelling skills.

Also, We are not looking for new moderators at this time. But when it's time for a new moderator or two usually I'll throw out a few names and the admin and mod team as a whole narrows down who we think might be the best candidates (based on quality of posts and willingness to help other, level of experience, length of membership and other factors).

Cool thanks, i guess i better wait and build my satus up, it seems everythime a few people give me a couple, someone whos been here and got higher things knocks me back lol... o well.
