I just bought this TV and have HDTV service set up through Time Warner. It looks fantastic, even as my PC monitor. Now all I need to get is a wireless keyboard and mouse so I can sit on my couch and talk on WMT.

Anyone else want to brag about their tax-season toys?

We got an HDTV in December, and it's amazing Watching normal TV isn't so great, but when you get to watch a good TV show in HD, the picture is just outstanding. Love it

Yeah, normal TV on the HDTV looks really crappy, crappier than on my regular TV. I wonder if it is a psychological thing or if there really is a difference.

I noticed the same, but apparently it's something to do with the box doing bad upscaling or something.

Very cool toy - even outside of a man-cave

My tax return is going for a down payment on a new (used) car and to pay off some of the loan on my hubby's new (used) motorcycle. Unfortunately the government has not yet seen fit to give me my money back yet so you will have to wait to find out what kind of new car I end up with.

If there is anything left after the vehicular purchases I'm buying a Palm Treo cell phone.

I'm not sure how much I'll get back. I'm writing off a bunch of purchases as business expenses so hopefully I'll get a nice chunk of change

We don't get money back in teh UK. I was tempted to buy a 50 inch HDTV the other day, I only went out to get a new mp3 player.

I would much prefer for my government not to overtax me every year just to force me to jump through hoops to get it back, but that is a topic for another thread.
