Business plans are fairly easily outlined however, very rarely easy to fill out. There are plenty of business plan templates on MS Online if you use Word at all. Here is a sample outline I stole from one.
I.Table of Contents. 3
II.Executive Summary. 3
III.General Company Description. 3
IV.Products and Services. 3
V.Marketing Plan. 3
VI.Operational Plan. 3
VII.Management and Organization. 3
VIII.Personal Financial Statement 3
IX.Startup Expenses and Capitalization. 3
X.Financial Plan. 3
XI.Appendices. 3
XII.Refining the Plan. 3
The hardest part is all the research you will have to put into filling this thing out if you are serious about attracting lenders (debt or equity). Nonetheless good luck with your startup and I hope you find success.
