Hey guys,
I am new to the forums and ive been surfing around here for quite some time intrested in starting a e-commerce site. I have kind of got a idea as to what I want to do, and where I want to go with things, however I realized it probably has to be more complicated than finding a domain name, getting a host for my site, etc. I live in the United states, North Carolina to be exact and was wondering what kind of business law's usually govern websites? I am aware I would probably have to register for a tax ID number, but other than that, how do you pay taxes for your business? quarterly,yearly? I guess all i really want to know is how to go about this legally? I do not want the IRS or any other goverment agency breathing down my neck saying I owe a boat load of money because I did not kow how to do something,lol. Anyway I appreciate any advise you guys can offer, and thank you for the advice I have already recieved through loking through the forums!
