Clocks go forward 1 hours tonight in the UK., so don't forget.

Also.. Don't ya think it would be better to get rid of this stupid daylight savings nonsense?

I propose we all put the clocks forward by half an hour and then leave them alone.

Wait, what are you talking about? It should be daylight savings time all the time. I like to have an hour of daylight after work in the winter not dark at 4:00PM.

But yeah we shouldn't have to set our clocks back and forth. It's kinda dumb.

You'd think they would alot of clocks with daylight savings time pragrammed in by now.

That was started years ago so the kids who lived on farms could help dear ol' Dad harvest crops -- very few farms have kids living at home now; much less doing harvesting by hand ... daylight savings time is a joke, as you're not "saving" any time ... I'm just glad that Arizona doesn't recognize it, and told the Fed. Gov't. they weren't changing their time!

Daylight savings time goes back farther than that, and it wasn't just for the farmer's benefit. Think WWII and rationing. But even older, DST was proposed by Benjamin Franklin !!!

This year's DST really messed with me because I had a client I had to do some work for at 10:00 AM on the Sunday morning. That wouldn't have been so bad (since that was only 9:00 the old time) except that my buddy got two comp tickets to go see an act at Casino Rama the night before that we wanted to see, so we didn't get back till about 2:00 PM. Fast-forward an hour to 3:00. Leave an hour to try and unwind before I can go to bed. And bang, problem.
