hi, i had look around the forum. And i found tht ppl r tend to selling email db all around, I wonder whether i should buy them?? Coz they keeps on saying it's LEGAL if the provide an opt-out

Wht is opt-out?

And wht if i buy those emails and send them link to promote my site, Then i 100% consider a spammer?

That's what will probably happen. By definition, getting an email from a business you've never heard of before is spam. Also, from a record in a database, you won't be able to write personalized emails, so you'll have to send out the cookie-cutter type that everybody hates.

There are a lot of ways you can market your business online, and if you stick around and look at some of the other forums, you'll find much better ideas than sending out blanket emails to strangers. In other words, don't pay to make a bunch of potential customers blacklist you.

Yeah, ditto what Forrest said. Mass mailing is simply not that effective anyways. It's kind of the spray and pray approach to marketing. Taking the time to target your audience will be much more beneficial.
