hi, i come accross this word PR. What is PR actually?

Page Ranking? or Press Release?
And if it's Page Ranking, how to check my page rank for my site? Can someone guide me?

For webmasters, PR is mostly referred as Page Rank (Google Technology for ranking web page)

Yes, as said by everyone else, it is refered to as Page Rank, not Press Release!

i think it depends. because PR can be referred to as Page Rank or Press Release. it depends on how you will use it

In business terms it is Public Relations... But anyways, it means publicity and fame and should be cared about.

Page rank... Ok here we go again, I actually cannot believe ADAM did not point this out.

The actual page rank itself has no meaning, its just a bar thats green

which can easily be faked.

Dont worry about it, just do your seo and link building and the PR will take care of itself!
