One of the site's that I operate is actually comming up first for the serach BGOD because my website is actually www.bgod.net. First is a lot more then I expected Because this site is only a few days old..lol..

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=BGOD

There is a Google Serach or you can check that our for your self by just going to a serach engine typing in BGOD and watching my website BGOD.NET go the very top of the page..( this kinda surprized me)...

But even more was the fact that someone took the time to submit a long good article about my website when the site itself is still only 6 days old lol... It is a very funny article and you guys got to check it out, talk about some dedication to a new site Gotta love the wacko's....

There are only 22,000 mentions of bgod on the internet, I would have been very surprised if you wasn't number one in google..

Why? My site is ForrestCroce.com; if I do a search for ForrestCroce ( w/ no space ) I'll come up #1, also. My friend has BrianKeever.com, and even though he's done nothing with it, he comes up #1 for his name. Having the search term in your URL, especially the domain name, is as powerful as ten thousand links ... and I really, really doubt anyone else is on a campaign building links with "bgod" as the anchor text, all to some other web site.

It's fun to come up first in Google, but you need to go after a more useful term. In your logs, how many times does "bgod" show up as a search that lead someone to your site? If I was interested, I'd type "be god" instead.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade. It's just the way Google works that you're going to score #1 for your domain name. If you start another site in the future, keep that in mind while you're picking out a domain name. ( I'm starting a portrait service, so rather than running a page on my main site, I registered Seattle-Portraits.com, which doesn't work yet, to target searches with those words. )

Out of curiosity Vasity, did you actually read that article about your site? He is claiming you spammed him via PM.

Now let's see what the quote says, shall we?

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

That’s right, kids! You heard it here first: religion and SEO are connected! I didn’t know this until just a few minutes ago, but thanks to the wonders of forum private message spam, I can now become a Demi God or Creator! A user named “Vasity” on Webmaster-Talk has decided to tell me about a wonderful new site that he’s a “member” of.

Let’s see here. We have a “new member” to a forum looking for people to check out a “brand new community”. And the “new member” is helping plug a site. As a new member, he should have no vested interest in doing so.
But like most spammers, our boy Vasity unzips his fly, undoes his button and drops his pants down around his ankles. In this post, he announces a contest whereby every user who comes up with 20 posts will be entered into a draw to win one of 5 domain names that look like someone mashed on their keyboard with an open palm shot and registered the result as a dotcom.
And would you look at that! The site that people are supposed to post to is…BGod.net! What a stunning development!
Of course, all of this pales in comparison to the short spurt of high comedy that the BGod.net forums provide. There’s a site with relatively little content, a skin that renders the text difficult if not almost impossible to read, and a slogan that I swear my nephew wrote:
