I am wondering if this is a good keyword to be under...

The Website I am working with is a Content Creation Forum

And when you serach Content Creation Forum on Google.

It comes up in 4th place not bad rankings for a site that is no more then 2 weeks old...Is this good ? I want some opinons.

I doesn't look like a particularly competitive term, but it's always nice to rank well.

Is it good? If the people you're marketing to use the phrase when searching then it's good.

Your keyword doesn't get any searches.
You won't be getting any traffic from the SEs with this one, even if you rank first in the SERPs.

I suggest that you choose a different keyword.

not a competitive keyword though it is nice to see that you rank but better to find other keywords to target which is use by a lot of users when searching for something like your site...

I am getting a good amount of traffic from this actually...lol. Like I've said the way I found this was looking for a Content Creaiton Forum . Many webmaster's serach for this type of thing all the time (Digital Point thought it a good idea to get that keyword and I'm only 3 spots under them )

Are you finding that people who find you through the phrase are signing up for membership on the forum? I think that more than anything will tell you how good the phrase is. Based on what you're saying it sounds like it would be a good phrase.

When I said it didn't look overly competitive it was more about the other sites optimizing for the phrase. I see less than 2,000 sites on Google in results for an exact match on the phrase. I think that helps explain the quick ranking, though that's no meant to take away from anything you've done.

It's great you could discover the phrase because it's bringing traffic. I wouldn't turn it away at all. The key though is what that traffic does when it gets to your site. I would think they would be interested in your forum so hopefully they're already signing up. If not you might want to take a look at what the page their landing on could do to get them to sign up.

How you found this one is a good way to find new keywords. You know people are really using that phrase since they found you that way. One thing you can do is now look for phrases around that general phrase.

I'm just guessing here, but maybe 'content creator' or 'content building forum' Other terms that are similar to the one you got found for.

Try using some of the keyword tools too like:

WordTracker
KeywordDiscovery
Overture Keyword Selector Tool

Those are three of the free tools that can help you find keyword phases to target. The first two also have pay versions that will give you a lot more information. Don't take the numbers as absolutes. Use them more to know that one phrase gets searched more than another, but don't believe the actual numbers.

It seems like you are actively targeting this phrase and you appear 4th, But when i do a search for "Content Creation Forum" it returns only 640 results. As you appear to be the only person targeting this phrase you should be #1

good to hear that you are on the fourth place.. but having good position is SERPs also comes with having good traffic and sales.

if good traffic and sales are also two of your goals then IMO, you must target a more competitive term
