Iyt must be the stupidest question you've heard today but I'd like to know why bloggers are so eager to spew their personal lives and or opinions all over the web?

I think it's different for different people. AT some point I think most blogs are started with monetary intentions, but there are still many that are kept as a public diary of sorts.

I think maybe cuz ppl dont like to be alone,,and they want to be some kind of " focus",,So they post their personal ideas or things out,hope other ppl notice them ,and disscuss them... I guess... I have registered many blogs :P but reallly have no much time on it...
But anyway sometime you really can get very useful infomations from blogs.

You can think of your blog as your psychiatrist.

You can unload or get things off your chests by writing them down in you blog. lol.

I read an article in a newspaper a few days ago that I've been thinking about ever since. It kind of goes against what I believe in, but it also makes a lot of sense, is a really good argument. So I've been considering it, playing devil's advocate, wondering if I should change my mind a little bit in how I see globalization.

I wrote about the concepts that captured my attention on my blog, to expose people to new ideas, and to get comments on them. Already a couple people have written in to help put different arguments into perspective and help gain a better understanding of complex issues that affect everybody.

To answer your question, I blog because I like ideas, and this type of server application allows for a sort of conversation. I'm encouraged to learn and share, and other people share collective wisdom on the topic.

Blog is the great place to share my opinion about specific topic. And It is everybody's diary and it is place where I can express my feeling and to share something that is valuable to other. It is the people have something to read about.

Because I don't know enough smart people, or well smart in the way I am smart, speak that dash of political interest everyone should have and the most things computer based, like web design, like programming, like hardware and such.
So I make a blog post and wait for some comments, emails or a link from another blog, it's an open discussion that may take days. At least some people have some intelligent thoughts and it makes me smarter as well.
I make like 30 bucks a month off of the ads now which were only put there to cover hosting in the first place, so at the end of every month I check if I need to upgrade, if not I donate 80% to wikipedia while the rest helps with my other site which makes almost no revenue.

I have a blog and only post on it every once in awhile (usually 5 months apart.. lol) I really dont have a reson for it.. hmm, I will be up all night trying to figure out why I blog...

I blog for a few reasons:

1) Ads (cash).

2) Creative outlet.

3) There are too many crappy blogs saying the same things over and over again.

4) I had to learn the blogging software.

What's the matter with sharing with it? Blogs are very helpful not just on earning but also on knowing news and learning other's life.

Some people find it meditative, I know I did when I started, then I got frustrated because I had no comments at the beginning, when I started getting comments it was better, but at some point I just had to go back to gaming for the real fun.
