I received my first motorcycle earlier this week; it is so much fun to ride although it's a bit small. I got a Honda Rebel CMX250 so I don't kill myself and also since it's only 300lbs I don't have to worry so much about dropping it while practicing in a parking lot.

Do you have a bike? What kind and how long have you been riding? I found it rather strange at first however, very nice that I suddenly became a member of a fraternity I never new existed. Motorcyclists of all kinds, ages, etc. wave to me when going past even though my bike sounds like a piglet whimpering and I look like a power ranger in my getup. I even seem to get encouraging looks from them after I do something stupid at an intersection (like go into neutral rather than second and rev the engine real high, then while trying to turn off the blinker accidentally hit the horn which sounds like the road runner; it all happened in about 2 seconds and confused the crud out of me) when everyone in cages is laughing.

Congratulations!! New toys are always fun, and especially one that will end up saving you money!

My hubby has a Vulcan 1500. It's pretty cool. My mother's day gift from him was matching helmets. I like to ride it with him, but the only thing on two wheels I have ever driven didn't have a motor. I rode with my uncles when I was a kid and know hubby is hinting that I should learn to drive a motorcycle, but I think I will leave that part to him

I also wish that other drivers on the road gave as much respect to motorcyclist as they do to each other. Cars/Trucks may seem like cages compared to motorcycles, but they offer a lot more protection than a motorcycle.

got the first one when i was in my college ... 1st year... a hero honda splender. Since then i love that toy.

I liked very much Yamaha RX 135 in my college days. But didn't have one.
When i decide to buy one, i bought Yamaha Crux, a 4 stroke 100CC bike. It perfectly fits for indian road condition and gas price. Now, i am dreaming about Bajaj "Eliminator" and Honda "Karizma"
