So all the Google online empire comes from behind these offices? I doubt.

Some things you see in the media, esecially the news papers is not "real" its mearly for "public consumption" as they say.

I've seen pictures of Google employees in the Google Gym and one of the many on campud restaurants, in the last picture here, we see them playing pool.

Is this a workplace or a social club?

While these are probaly made for 'public consumption', I would believe that Google would have such things. Working around computers all day is stressful work(as so many of us know), wouldn't Google be smart to add stress releaving relaxation areas to its campus? After all, someone who is more relaxed is definatly someone who works better.
