In our modern society where every minute is of great value RSS feed became highly popular mean of getting news in a faster manner. There was time when everybody felt that Digg is a great place to find new content but now for some people it seems that unspotted reputation of Digg is over . Yes, we can observe a wave of doubts about the way how Digg works .

This is an article about how poor webmasters face the injustice of Digg on a daily basis and their attempts to make Digg transporent: http://www.pronetadvertising.com/art...digg21131.html
In this article you can also find a link where you can sign the petition that calls on Digg to open up the data on how stories are buried.

Let’s try to predict what gonna happen next?

How far can go these two sides?

To be honest, I've never used Digg as a means to find quality content on the web, and have always secretly hoped that this fad would soon be defunct. I prefer the good ol fashion way of finding authors I like and sticking to them.

Mind you, I think the web is long overdue for a proper ranking system that allows users to rate sites/articles in a free, more of a web 2.0 means. Swicki to me has wayyy more potential than Digg, but needs a better marketing strategy. I can already see 5 ways I'd improve it, but then, I have the luxary of not working there :-)
