Hello,
I got a new domain and was wondering how i can get some real traffic to the forums and encourage users/visitors to post and join the forums?
There are paid posting services but they do not provide a long term solution, traffic might be good only for few days.

website is more of like general discussion with rants and what not, for all age groups.

Any ideas?

ive tried recently traffic exchange for free.. if you want try that,, and link building is the best..

you could organise the forum into areas of interest, make it seo friendly, so people come across it via search engines. people like finding what they're looking for

use your sig correctly with keywords within your links

get also as many links as you can back to your site

offer free things to you visitors

FREE is the best word people like and also Money

Well, getting a website noticed is hard nowadays; being that there are BILLIONS of websites out there.

You should really offer something unique, first off, as this will definitely generate interest to your site.

Secondly, are you wanting free traffic, or are you willing to invest?
Free traffic is hard to get, and will require more hours, but it is free.

A good way to start is posting a relavent forums and having a link to your forum in your signature.

-=- when you make some 50% revenue sharing in adsense ..then you wil have more number of people come thro google search ... revenue sharing is the one idea thr which people ruch nowadays .. post some sexy non nude pics and start some discussion abt actresses .. it will drive nice participationa dn some revenue too .. -=- best of luck for your forum !!! -=-

First of all nobody is going to bother with a forum if it is empty. Buy forum posting services just to get some content. You then need to have a reason why someone should use your forum rather than the all the others out there.

You need to come up with an idea and create a buzz. The very best way of populating a forum is always word of mouth.

he said First backlink ure site, then tell url to ure friends and family, then Dig ure topics to dig it , then install stumpleupn toolbar and addd ure site
