hello.

I tried searching, but sorry, could not find what I am looking for.

I have placed a few simple gif ads on a few sites (paid ad) and I would like simply to automatically check everyday that the ads are there and correctly linked to my site.

I know that there are some very sofisticated ad trackers which track every click ...... but I am looking for something very simple, one that does not need a special link ..... just something that checks regularly whether my banner is still there and is linked to my site.

What would you advise me ?

I know phpadsnew. it is a banner management script.

but I am not looking for something to manage banners on my site, but simply detect that my banners are still on other sites where I placed banners.

Those are simple personal websites, not companies.

you can not ask them to install a big script such as php ads new only because you have a banner with them.

you just need something simple to see whether your banner is displayed on their site, and to check for it every day.
