Hi Guy’s…. I’m new to the forum and am looking for some info on MSN LIVE, I want to limit the time my daughter is spending on msn live on her PC, I have set up a schedule on the firewall setting on my router which I thought had done the job but for some reason I cannot block MSN LIVE..
Can any one tell me which section I am best to post this on..... help please…..

Thanks Guy's.....

Communication uses outgoing TCP/UDP on ports 1493, 1542, 1863 & 1963

Messenger Sign in uses TCP/UDP 1484, 2400 with a destination of port 443.

blocking those should kill it. Or at least it did when I was a network manager

My thought is Microsoft products won't let you kill them.
