Do we know the placement value of alphabets in numbers or counting?

Do we really know when we say...

Do some of you know the value or importance of 'a','b','c' and 'd' in numbers

'd' comes for the first time in a 'hundred'

'a' comes for the first time in counting in 'thousand'

'b' comes first time in a 'billion' only

well 'c' never 'comes'

think it over... and pls give me your kind views..

I am trying to say that alphabets 'a' 'b' 'c' 'd' are not present in countings of numbers when we count like one, two, three... till ninety nine.

'd' comes only after 'hundred'
'a' comes in 'thousand'
'b' comes 'billion'
'c' never comes in counting..

oh i get it.. i think what he's trying to say is that the letters a,b,c and d is not included to the numbers one to ninety nine when you spell it. nice logic.

Oh I get it now. So the letters "a" "b" "c" and "d" dont occur when you spell out numbers until you get to 100. And no number uses "c" in its spelling.
I never noticed that before!

I've seen that posted elsewhere, and a friend told me about it like there was some importance to that.

Dear Mr Dave and Seolman.

Its good that you have seen posts like this.

Dont you feel that people should know and appreciate this thing for whoever find it out. I did not, but I still find it interesting.

If I wanted to keep it to myself, I wud have, but I feel that the world should know and enjoy.

Information and knowledge should be shared to increase. If its not.. its wasted.

Anyway, I just wanted to spread my info..
