Jim I'm a third generation Yankee fan. My grandfather grew up watching Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, and then Joe DiMaggio. He passed the tradition on to his three daughters who grew up in the era of Mantle, Ford, and Berra.

I took things on in the mid 70's with the Bronx Zoo teams.

Sorry Adam it had to be done. We'll see you in Toronto the first week of August.

Keith would you believe my best client and a good friend lives just outside of Boston. We met up at the Hall of Fame last Thanksgiving. A Yankee fan and Sox fan walking into the Hall together. I think the river Styx may have iced over.

My brother somehow became a Mets fan and so roots for the Sox just to be able to root against the Yankees. He's even a card carrying member of Red Sox Nation. Naturally we've kicked him out of the family.

Are you watching "Bronx is Burning" on ESPN? It's all about that 77 team.

I love the Yankees but I have to admit... I was kinda happy when the Red Sox finally got the monkey off their back and won the big one.

So much sacrilege...no Blue Jays love at all. Boourns to you all! BOOURNS!

Seriously, it's kind of interesting, given the demographic of this board, that almost everyone is either a Yanks or a BoSox fan...not even a team outside of the AL East has representation on this board (although I always kind of dug the Cardinals just because their unis look so classy and because of Phat Albert.)

At least I can say I'm a Yankee fan because I grew up in New York and had some family history guiding me. I wasn't expecting a lot of Jays love here, but you're right we're all still in one division.

I'll throw a shout out to the Rockies and switch not only divisions, but leagues. Now that I get all they're games I follow them too. The Rocks have a good young team and I think sometime in the next couple of years they're going to make some noise. I can see them winning the NL West this year. No one else in that division is so good that they'll run away with it.

Adam I know the Yankees beat up on your Jays last week, but it could have been worse. You could have been a Rays fan and had to deal with this weekend. That was a hurtin'

I cheer for two teams: the Yankees, and whoever plays the Mets.

Canadian baseball used to be cute until they started winning games.

God willing, it'll be another 100 years before the Red Sox win another World Series.
