Out of curiosity, is that legal? I'm sure you have a good reason for wanting a female voice, but I wonder what equal opportunity thinks? I don't have any real advice, but maybe someone else will come along with some.

Yep, equal opportunity law has guidelines for such things, e.g. you can hire an actress for a female role in a play/tv show. If a female voicing is required then it is covered under equal opportunity law.

Wouldn't it be funny if everytime you offered a role to an actor you could never specify anything about them such as male/female, ethnicity, vocal range, weight and color. How would it function?
