Okay islamic people do not do pictures of animals people or god so is tv technically against their religion because tv is moving pictures.

Technically it is only the very orthodox Muslims who follow the teaching that living beings must not be represted in artwork. This is to do with the basic principle that "Islam is centred on Unity, and Unity is not expressible in terms of any image."

And yes in those cases I would presume that they wouldn't watch TV.

The christians similarly have a rule about graven images. Churches are full of them though.

I think I know what you are talking about with Christianity because many Christian religions do not like paintings of jesus etc because of Idol worshiping.

Yeah, but sacrelidge doesn't mean anything any more. Christians don't do premarital sex - Christ himself said anyone who engages in this evil practice will spend eternity in hell. Right there in the gospel. But I know a lot of Christians who have sex before being married. I used to be one of them, honestly, and hope and believe and occasionally pray that God has mercy on my soul.

Fundamentalist Muslims also believe television is evil, and will excommunicate a person, taking their wives and children ( property of the church to be granted to a more deserving husband ) for owning a television. And that's not the deserts of Pakistan - that's Utah.
