Hey if conventional methods don't work, you could always try selling PageRank to gullible people, although this would muck up your site - desperate needs call for (very) desperate measures. You could also try selling talkupation - all of these little green bars mean lots of cash.

(Note, some people without a similarly obscure sense of humour may have not found the above post funny, or may have thought I was being serious. Hint: if you still haven't realised this is a joke, you need to get out more and spend less time typing on your computer)

You could always make an E-bay auction selling "Absolutely Nothing." One of those I saw went for 12,000 Euro.

Does anyone else get these people who come up to you in the street and go:

"excuse me mate do you have £2.90 i need to get to blahblah and..."

1) im fliping 15 if i have money ITS MINE!!!!
2) Im not your mate i dont no you so bugger off

3) do i look like i give a monkeys you fault.. BYE!!

im always like i have no money. - just as im walking into a shop to buy soemthing

i dont know if anyone has seen this or if the US gets it
but on bbc 3 the real hussle which i find great, the guy did this, and he made LOADS.

Dan it happens everywhere. In New York it sometimes seems like you can't walk more than 10 feet without someone asking you for something.

On a small business forum where I post there have even been people starting threads asking other people to give them money.

My fiance said he read somewhere that a lot of these beggars make pretty good money. Somewhere near $30,000 a year...just from begging!

Anyway, I need money too. I read the "Secret" and apparently, all we have to do is believe we will get some money and we will.

I once saw a guy in Boulder asking for money while talking on his cell phone. there are people in this town who probably make more money than I do by asking others for handouts.

thats the thing alot of the time though the people who look like they are not beggers will be belive more when they say the whole my wallets been nicked and i need to get to blahblah because people belive them to be more genuine. which is a big problem.

the thing is its only really if they are caught "red handed" begging will the police be able to do anything. becasue no one ever seems to report beggers
