Yet i might not be the best example, in 2,5 years i got about 5 million pageviews and adsense only paid $100...so i really dont know...

mine gets better results with no borders. i have this thing called ad blindness, often with so much ads, they don't even bother to see or click them. what i do is remove the ads and let them stand out in a way that they have higher probability of getting higher CTR. but thats just on my observation, dont take my word for it.

even the ads on this thread dont have any borders. but anyway, content is better than making your ads more susceptible to clicks. good content and link building can always come with rewards, i spend some time making articles and blogs to keep them coming.

You can join google webmaster tools they will help you know you some key points about your website on which you can concentrate and modify them

And I suggest you make a lot of posts on you blog.
Atleast you'll have some content to work around with.

To find out what works on a particular blog you need to run tests
Test ad format, colour, position, number of blocks
Test everything
Once you have found the format that converts best, drive a ton of traffic to your blog

Also I find that optimizing each post for a different keyword helps

50 or 100 visitor/days ??? you should check again... is this unique visitor or regular visitor.. you should get at leat $0.001 in 1 single day....

Use ads blend with your template and content.use the ad format 336x280,because it provide the greatest CTR among other formats

What I feel that.......... Only new vistors to our site make click on ads........... Regular one know that this is ads.......... and they not feel to click ads......... so Vistor that we get from search engine are useful........ as they were searching things. so when they come to our site. and see a ads related to there need they click it...................

to increase convertion you must gather quality traffic coming from search engines you might have a 100 traffic per day but are those quality traffic from search engine? Second you must reduce the outbound link of your page they might click other links rather than clicking your adsense link.

yes........... that is true. as they are seraching for something and if they will get any link in out site, they move to it rather than to click on ads.................

Just one thing is main for adsense earnings .. Traffic traffic traffic , its always equals to $$$
