this is another topic so you might wanna post a new thread about this question of yours.

here's a quick explanation

you can do a free classified ads, DIR submission, Article submission from sites that offers a free submission. other methods on seo will not cost you a penny like posting to social bookmarking sites,online groups, blog comments, etc.

and when your traffic increases, place your ads on strategic areas but not on areas that will just be accidentally clicked.

honestly I find that hard to believe also. I think it still depends on the sites niche or if that site is in demand even if it has alot of ads it will surely have lots of click.

You can use this Google Adwords keywords tool. It tells you information like how much competition each keyword has and how much times people search for them etc.

Is your visitors organic? if yes then study with which keyword/s they come in your website then change your meta keywords as the same keyword/s. It brings Google ads related to the meta keyword/s. What ever you do you should make good search engine optimization and adsense optimization on web sites.

My favorite thought is: better get 1000 clicks for 0.01 then 5 clicks for $10.
Much easier is to make first task.

that's sounds like a lot of optimization to do and lots of blog. you have to be working at home in doing so. there's no way you can do that amount of work while having a day job.

Ad placement has a lot to do with it. Try adding a horizontal link unit under your banner up the top of the page.
