Are there any serious alternatives for adsense? YPN is only available in the US. I am currently using clicksor, the relevance is terrible though (who wants to buy house insurance while reading "an introduction to PHP"!). Anyway, i was wondering if anyone could reccomend another good PPC which pays relatively well, and works in the same contextual manner. Thanks

I'm in the same situation as you, and basically the answer is that there aren't any decent Adsense alternatives. I hate having all my eggs in one basket, but there aren't too many eggs to choose from here in the UK..

The best I can suggest is to sign up with some affiliates relevant to your sector. Not as hassle-free as context-sensitive ads, but there's potential for decent revenue there.

Hey,
I think Bidvertiser is good, and they can payout via Paypal

thanks for the tips everyone, on adbrite people have to personal bid for your site dont they? As my site wont be recieving huge amounts of traffic from the off i dont really wnat to stay with 2cent clicks for a while. And unfortuantely i dont have access to adsense (both me and my brother are under 18 so we have to register through my dad, my brother got there first and got it banned :|-encouraging people to click i think) which leaves me with virtually no decent tasting eggs and a very empty basket

Bidvertiser, in my opinion, is not good as people "bid" for your ads and many times, the ads have nothing to do with your site. I'd say, check out AdBrite as it's better than nothing. Chitika I"ve heard, is also good.
