59ideas: Actually it was one blog that made the money - mostly.. the others just came along towards the end of that period. I signed up for adsense a year or so ago, but never used them, then i set up a new blog.
And posted articles and pictures for the content type it was, i decided to put in the ads, but not in the usual places people put them, the obvious places like sidebar and header, with a blue border around it.
Instead i integrated the ads into the content. This way people could see them more as being an interesting link, which may (and should) relate to the topic.
Then i decided to dedicate time to Marketing Days, but this would be work i should do my self, eventually i exchanged links with over 30 other blogs, then some added me without asking for a link back. Then a really huge blog linked to me, and that brings allot of traffic...
My only regret is the clicks for the topic in question do not pay out much per click, very little in fact. I am not trying to adopt this strategy for the other blogs. But it may be a little more difficult....
Please excuse the bad grammer/spellin its been a long day both blog wise and my 'real job' I wish blogging would start paying more then my 9-5 LOL
