If we take half banner layout for example and we make it display text and image ads would the click on half banner displaying image ad bring us more money compares to text link or less? Or maybe it doesn't even matter?

I don't think it matters, maybe a couple cents more.

I think picture ads pay more, because they take up room of several text ads, and google usuallay puts the highest paid ads it can on your site.

the challenge is though to get the user to click those image ads. I have found that image ads dont get clicked as much as text ads
