Isnt that against Googles TOS? I just saw a site on Adbrite that had 57k uniques per day that had both Adsense + Abrite together.

CAuse Adbrite is not program like Adsense

Adbrite isn't contextual, which means it doesn't crawl your page for keywords, even if it's PPC, it doesn't mean it conflicts with Adsense.

Also: a site with 50K+ uniques is probably selling those links through the AdBrite marketplace, which means it's not ever PPC.

sweet, im sick and tired of low cpc im getting at google and want to try adbrite.

I take it AdEngage is also allowed then? They are pretty much the same as AdBrite but have lower rates & accept PayPal

Yes both are allowed with adsense as they are direct links not contextual advertising.

I have used Adbrite in conjunction with Adsense with no problems. You'll have to test them both out though because you'll probably find that you make more with one than the other. I make more with Adsense than with Adbrite, so I removed the Adbrite ads entirely for now.

There's actually an active thread on this same topic at Digital Point. I've reached the conclusion that it's OK to have AdBrite and Adsense if you can make the two look different, which is kind of no longer the case since Adbrite 2.0 doesn't allow custom CSS anymore (which would allow for custom fonts, text effects, etc.).

I don't believe AdBrite's "Network Ads" counts as contextual because it doesn't use the page's content to determine which ads to serve like Google does. Adbrite uses manually-selected categories, which are usually very broad.

I've been running AdBrite and AdSense together for a while now and haven't had any issues as of yet. Then again, the end of this month will be the first time I've been able to cash out with Google, so fingers crossed.

One thing is for certain, at least with my site in particular, AdSense by far outperforms AdBrite. AdBrites lack of content based ad targeting is kind of crappy and the ads that are shown on my site generally have little to do with the content, unfortunately. It's to bad, because it could be a great service, and most like is for many people, just not me.

you can not use ads that have a similar look and feel as adsense. I recently asked them about incorporating Kontera with adsense, just to be on the safe side and here was their response:

Thanks for your email. In response to your question, you may use these ads on pages with your Google ads. However, please make sure that they do not mimic the appearance of the Google ads on the page.

I think you can get away with adbrite links. It is best to email adsense with the question. So the following programs are not be used:

YPN
Clicksor
Affiliate Banners that mimic adsense ad units
