Interesting. Let us know if it continues for a week or so.

more advertisers means higher bids... though more publishers can decrease payouts especially in a space where most advertisers have a limited budget.

Thats what lead me to scramble through these forums trying to find an answer, if I can get back to the original rates I would be sitting quiet happy right now.

Though in my 3 months I have found that the values go down after the 28th of the month, until the 1st of the next month.

Which is entirely retarded. If you made money from every dollar spent why do these people not just run the ad continually all the time?

Makes sense to anyone with 1/2 a brain.

If I was on an idea that generated $1.10 for every $1 I spent I would throw everything I could into it.

This is what 'marketing gurus' like Brad Sugars teach - find an ad that works and run it. Then test, test, test, test. I never heard him say anything like have 3 days off a month.

Then again I bet many of these people are employed and as long as the majority of their job is done then it doesn't matter to them.

If they advertised these additional days that would add up on average to an additional 8% revenue per year! Many businesses struggle to grow that much yearly - yet these people throw it away.

365-(28*12) / 365 = 7.9%

My AdSense payout is up, too, since the anti-arbitrage stuff kicked in. Again it's too early to tell if there's a correlation or I've just had a random series of good days (it happens) but it's encouraging to hear I'm not the only one who's found this!

It will be interesting to see what Google do with their next update for Smart Pricing -wether my clicks are now "more valuable" and I get paid as such or I get bumped back down again.

When I started I was on av 50c clicks - just 4 months ago now - something has gone terribly wrong.
