Adsense stats are different form site stats

My adsense stats are different from our site stats.

My adsense reports give me less clicks then my site stats give me.
Even through my bloglog I have more clicks on the ads then Adsense says there are.

I have checked the publisher id, channel etc and all of that is correct.

Does anyone know why, how and if it is normal?

How are you measuring clicks on adsense?

As regards impressions, I get it too. My pages get way more visitors than get listed as impressions. Some of the discrepancy might be explained by users without Javascript turned on.

Mybloglog provides stats with also the clicks made on your site. That says exactly what is clicked.
I can understand a little difference, but i'm talking about less then 1/3 that appears in the adsense stats.

While there is software that tries to track adsense ad clicks, it doesn't work with the google server or systems and therefore will inevitably be different. Google presumably filters out duplicate clicks, clicks that cancel (hit stop), clicks that seem like fraud and so on and so forth based on internal business rules which your tracker has no insight into. There are also click attempts that fail and simple differences in what is counted as a click. Ultimately if Google can't charge an advertiser, you can't get credit for a click regardless of that another tool may tell you it measured.

I don't think that site stats is able to trace adsense clicks, because this is a java code works for adsense.

JavaScript - not Java. Java is a much more advanced programming language, whereas JS is a simple interpreted language.

It depends on what stats program you use, if you use Webalizer or Awstats then that says it all. These stats programs are very inaccurate and records about 3 - 4 times as many pageviews per visitor on average to my site than what it actually receives. If it were true I would be having around 25 - 35 pageviews per visitor on average when infact I am having around 5 - 10 pageviews per visitor.

I use my own software for measuring clicks. However, that's offtopic, I'm not the one who is asking
