The title describes the discussion. I have recently moved away from Google AdSense in favour of WidgetBucks.

I know alot of people have not had much success with WidgetBucks, but I also know people that have made alot more than they make with AdSense. So I took the plunge and decided to make the change, and so far I am glad I did.

I just wanted to know you opinions on the battle between WidgetBucks and AdSense, anyone had any good/bad experiences?

Well you must be crackers, widget bucks sucks big time, i tryed it for a few weeks and the stats were wrong and didnt even log loads of clicks and were not up to date !

So its a complete waste of time !

How long ago did you try it?

3 months ago, if that, whats even more annoying i did have some earnings, and they disapeared, tryed to get support, and i had to register with some forum, tryed to register and it said i was already registered, tryed my username and pw and got invalid, what a mess !

Emailed them, never got a reply, so obviously not interested !

Gave up in disgust, and wont be using it again ! Which is a shame, as i liked some of the ads, but if somone cant be arsed to answer my emails, then they wont get any buisness from me !

Yeah, I can see how that is frustrating, Hopefully that does not happen to me, but so far so good.


Made over $5,000 with it so far in April, so gunna stick with it.. Would usually only be on around $3500 dollars on AdSense at this time in the month, so am looking forward to the months final tally.

Widgetbucks was a come and go thing. Adsense will be a long term earner always.

Many people got scammed by widgetbucks, this is what i heard from many bloggers. Thats why i support adsense which has become the best earner for people who are genuine publishers.

The fact is AdSense is one of the lowest payers now, due to a decrease in advertisers, and the rise of new programs.

I use alot of other programs as well to make money, so I am not just relying on one.

I make money playing flash games and stuff like that.

Well i try other things too, but once somone rips me off, thats it, i wont go back to it !

Cool.

Adsense always depends on what niche site you have. A normal gaming blog will produce lesser income than health blog for the same number of clicks.
But really adsense is the only long time earner.
