Imagine this:
<table><tr><td> column 1 (navigation)
<script>
ad block 1
</script>
</td><td> column 2 (main body)
<script>
ad block 2
</script>
etc...
Since "ad block 1" comes first in the HTML code it will get the highest bidding ads. In other words If there are two companies who have ads to place, company A who is paying $.50 a click and company B who is paying $.05 a click. Now, company A is the high bidder so their ad will go to the first ad block located on website. So if a visitor clicks on ad block 1, it will pay out $.50 BUT if they click the main body ad block, it will only pay out $.05
Now, in my case the ad block 1 is a link ad block. The link ad blocks dont actually display ads themselves. they are links to ads. So, lets say that if you click on my ad block 1 (link ads), this will display about 10 ads. The highest bidding ad is displayed first.
So...since the link ad block displays about 10 ads when clicked, are those ads affecting the value of my main body ad block 2?
In other words --- Let's say, there are five companies bidding for ad placement. Companies A,B,C,D and E.
A bids: .50
B bids: .35
C bids: .25
D bids: .10
E bids: .05
So if someone clicks an ad from Company D the webmaster gets .10 cents. If a visitor clicks on an ad from Company A the webmaster gets .50
Now, In my original question, I am wandering, for instance, if the top bidding ads are being displayed within the link ads output? In other words, the only way i will see any $.50 clicks is if someone clicks that link ad block then clicks the top ad displayed.
Most people click the main ad blocks in the body...this is generally where you want your first ad block to appear. You want your .50 ads there not .05 cent ads!
So, now I will ask again: Does my link ad block in the left column drop the value of the ads within the main ad block??
Thanks and take it easy,
