Just curious if anyone out there has also seen this and knows what the deal is. On my sites I have placed the Firefox referral buttons. Over the past couple of weeks I have seen (in my adsense reports) X amount of clicks and 2 signups, but no conversions. Since there have been no conversions there have been no payouts. Exactly what is required to generate revenue from the Firefox referral buttons? People have clicked, downloaded the product and (I guess) used it. What is the conversion necessary for payment?

They have to download it AND install it. It does track this somehow, I believe when the firefox page is viewed for the first time in their browser. I made about 4 bucks with the firefox referal though, so it does work! The trick is they have to install it.

They better be working.. I just added 'em to my site

Yea, I was looking into it a bit more...I also believe that the visitor must not have had firefox previously installed. So if they have an old version (already installed), then they see your button, click it and download the newer version, you won't get paid. Oh well, I guess those are the breaks
