Now a days blogs and forums are really doing good with adsense. Just you have to select those niche which have less competition and healthy paying.

But I think website will always be in fashion and will be helpful for long term.

Pure static site coded is still best when it comes to search engines but if you want to have a lots of visitors for adsense then do a blog and regularly update your contents.

I still prepare blogs, those blogs that are free and easy. That doesn't need to buy domains.

Blog is the best way . Because you can more concentrate on content .not about the site maintanace .

Blogs are far better than a standard website when making money online just because they have SEO to begin with. You can make a lot of money with Adsense on a blog. I like WordPress.

I think it is depend upon the traffic of the site.
