Hey. can i get some help.

I have signed up google adsense, made a adsense text.

all i need to do now is place it into my blog.

BUT, i dont know how to place the code into my blog. I use Wordpress, i saw an old tutorial vid that was usefull and it showed i should be able to find place the code under "text widget" under theme>appearance.

But i use wordpress 2.7.1 which is the lastest version, so i was unable to find that option.


Does anyone use wordpress 2.7? can you give me easy steps to placing the "adsense code"

I use adsense code on many of my websites(www.irresistiblegadgets.com) but I directly modified template pages to include ads.If You now a bit about HTML and CSS it is the best way to really do great integration( right spots on the pages-very important) of ads.
If You want simple( no messing up with the code) way then you could use AdSense plugin for WordPress.I have not use it myself so no idea is it good and how easy is to do setup.
Let me know URL of the your website and where you want to place ads.

Hi, If you created a blog on wordpress.com then you do not find the place to put that code, because wordpress.com not allow adsense.

Use All-in-one-adsense plugin. You can add adsense inside the post. Put it above, middle, below or side. I hope this help

You can hard code the Adsense Code into your template or use a plug in (There are several at Wordpress.org Listed), or you can find or buy a Template that is "Adsense Ready" where you just paste in your code to the appropriate field.
