You increase eCPM by increasing CTR.
You increase CTR by providing integrated ads relevant to your visitors.

P.S. Do not talk about your actual CTR % on any forum as it's against Google's TOS

I'm not saying this works for everything, but say you write for hubpages or make small niche blogs. One way to increase your CTR (click through ratio) is by writing good content, but leaving a little bit unknown.

if you answer the readers questions, and leave them 100% satisfied, why would they click on the ads ? The truth is in most instances they wouldn't. So if you write for hubpages or make niche blogs/sites consider how much information you really want to give. You want to give enough to help people and get return visitors, but you may want to leave some reason for them to click an ad.

For note the first adsense block in your html code will contain the top paying keywords - whilst this tip is not related to CTR it may help up your earnings

Also I notice you have no adsense on the index page at all which won't help up your CTR - no ads = zero % CTR!
Also whoy not try a horizontal link block as your menu layout lends it self really well to the use of a horizontal link block (top and bottom?)
Cheers
