I agree with shabbir, although your efforts doesn't stop just by making quality content. You should make great efforts on seo for your site to be more successful. =)

Sometime Adsense is not the right kind of monetization for your niche and you should concentrate on other methods as well if possible

Join socialnetworking sites and build your contact list.Submit articles in article sites like ezinearticles Maintain one or two niche blogs and add your adsense id or code.
submit your fav sites and your favourite blog posts in social bookmarking sites..
This should give you a fair start to increase your google adsense earnings. Bigger the traffic or list of readers for your blog, bigger are the adsense earnings.

I wish I am earning this much from adsense. I am still working my way up there. See you soon. I agree results will come after a while, after a long hard work.
