Is my site against adsense rules?

First of all, when I first setup the ads I clicked them a few times out of curiosity because they were advertising sites relative to our content that I had never seen. Big mistake, I hope they don't lock my account.

Secondly, I'm wondering if google ads are allowed to be placed in forum posts. They might think that it is too deceiving, because its under the titled post. I personally don't think it is at all, but here is an example.

Would that be against their rules? I disabled those ads temporarily until I'm certain they aren't. Perhaps if they are in between posts instead?

Site stats
Earned so far (1 day) - $16
1,000 hits per day
Page eCPM - $3.12
Page CTR - 0.64%
5,000 page impressions (so far its only mid-day, most traffic comes at night and during week days)

I'm really quite impressed by how well this is working, but I don't want to ruin it! Also, I don't understand why the eCPM for some channels is like $8!

Thanks

I was able to find a hack to put the ads in between posts titled "Advertisement links".

I think it's alright. Google filters it to show 3 ads only in 1 page. As long as your content is original.

If what you are doing is against the Google Adsense rule, I dont think they will ban you immediately without first sending you a warning except you are still clicking on your ads. And Pande, what if someone from Google Adsense team reads this thread?

I'm not sure if its against adsense rules but it would certainly annoy the Bejesus out of me if I was a forum member.

Did Google contact you about you going against their rules?

If not, then I don't think your crossing any line. They will not ban you instantly without having a word with you and that is how Google works. They would first inquire things with you first.

I think adsense ads under the title is allowed as I've seen some forums that have this. There are also some blogsite that have this style of placing adsense ads.
