I have been using Google AdSense program but I have not earned much profit from my sites. I tried to use male enhancement affiliate programs but don't earn much profit either.
Which one is better so I can focus on?

Depends on your site and Adsense works for majority of people but Affiliates if done in the right way can take you too far but the important aspect of it is doing it the right way which means.

Having the right product for the right people who are willing to listen to you and buy from your website.

adsense is easy for newbie. but if you can do very hard work and if you have good experience about marketing stuff, affiliate is the best

There are pros and cons for each program.
Adsense is more direct because basically you just need to paste some codes and then concentrate on getting traffic. What follows next is on optimization part related to ads positioning and blending. Each successful click will give you an earning depending on your niche.

However, for the affiliate program. Not every clicks will generate an income because not every people will buy the product. In terms of traffic, you will need laser targeted visitors. Furthermore, in terms of improving conversion, you will need to establish a certain level of relationship with your readers to convince them to spend.

Honestly, I think that the problem here is your website. Try something more persuasive. Like cartoons or something that you think people like.

They both work well. I use adsense on some sites and also promote affiliate products, they both bring in money.

One suggestion would be to select a niche that you like, not something you think will bring in fast money.

I did not manage to sell affiliate products and earn (except for a little success with the Amazon program). Another problem I had was some guilt problems. I promoted experian credit report tool, and also Dodo, an Australian internet provider, and earned some money (about $50). Then I researched more and found out both were scams, luring customers with promises of cheap or free service and then having a 'hidden' monthly subscription program.
I'd hate to think that I helped them make a business. Unfortunately, too much affiliate programs are of this type. More solid programs, like the serious ones found at cj.com, would not accept me, they probably want me to already have a large site with a very good traffic.

Nobody can tell you which is better for you, you are the one know better. All of them is quite similar, you need targeted traffic to earn money
