I currently have 2 ad units and 1 link unit at http://intensecogitation.info and I was wondering if I could get any suggestions on placement.

I am also running Amazon ads underneath the Google Ads.

Are the font, etc decent? Do they match the theme?

What do you mean? It's a bit of a longer scroll on 1024*768, but that's the only thing I'm noticing

Google Adsense positioning looks fine to me, probably you may remove the bottom banner and place it somewhere at the top.
