Okay so I understand the concept of the competitive ad filter (allows you to block ad sites)but im not quite sure about the allowed sites option....
does that option let you choose which sites you're allowing yourself to profit from?Or are you allowing certain sites to display ads on you're site? Because if it's the latter than why does google allow sites that arent on the allowed list to display ads on your page but not pay you if it gets clicked?

Oh God...never mind I just read something on googles help forum that clears it up for me...But, another question...how can i have specific ads display on my sites...I've suddenly got a rush of visitors because im currently on a "new directory website" list on this popular website that has a list of online directories...and I dont wanna miss out on the oportunity to prosper from all this traffic ...so i need to display the most relevant ads possible quick.

Adsnense is context sensitive therefore it shows adverts that match the page content

Thats not actually quite true Chris, many times it comes down to money, I dumped google after banning the 200th site I didn't want advertising on my forum and finding out that you could only block 200 sites, **** them.
