I performed a site about a disease (trimethylaminuria) since about seven monthes, i hosted it in a free host, i applied for adsense and i reached the first page of google for a while (some days) but received very few clicks because my website's position has dropped.

The reason is the hosting service that make my website slow and penalized by google.

I am wondering if there is people who made earnings in a free hosting subdomain thanks to adsense.

No ! I said it is penalized ! I mean what I am saying !
I have the webmaster tools for it and I can see from the crawler stats that Time spent downloading a page (in milliseconds) is between 200 and 3000 for the last month while i didn't made any change on the website.

I also looked into http://tools.seomoves.org/penaltychecker/ and I am told "This domain has a severe penalty."

The website is six monthes old, so it is not actually new !

In my experience, i started with the good old (RIP) Geocities and published Adsense Ads there. I was making real good money with those small sites until Yahoo! decided to close it down last year. So with the question, YES, you can make money with free hosting subdomains. But if you are really keen in this business, then you should register your own domain. Just like in my case, who would have thought that Geocities would close?
