I have google adsense on a few of my pages which pertain to fonts and ebooks. Now I know my keyword density for those terms isn't right yet but why should adsense continually choose to advertise star wars related products ?

It is especially freaky considering my obsession with those films and choice of username here !!!

Without seeing the pages, I can't tell what the problem is. One guess is that you have links from star wars related sites, or even your posts here, and google assumes the content is related to star wars. I looked briefly at the site listed in your signature, and I didn't see any adsense ads. Any links would help.

I took a gander and most of the pages I went to had relevant content for what was displayed on the page.

How new is the site in regards to how recently did you put these ads up?

I have a Survivor site and initially they start off with erroneous search terms but through some time, they are optimized to fit my site the best. Occasionally, you will find that some terms simply just stick there even if you don't see any relevant key terms but having been on the Google AdWords we choose the keyword that makes our ad appear.

For instance, you might have a site on studying for the SATs, but someone that is advertising coffee makes 'SAT' a keyword to activate it's ad to appear on that site.

Hope that helps you in understanding what is going on.

Update : the ads now seem to be relevant on all pages but I'm still freaked out by the fact they were all star wars ads to begin with
