they are all THE SAME
every one is a website of one sort or another
AND THEY ARE ALL HTML
Stop looking at ridiculous things that are of no consequence.

Chris is right. A page is a page However it was constructed its only HTML rendered by a browser, so as such the way you layout your site, or the software you use to serve your information is of no consiquence. The only thing that mattters to a search engine or people visiting is the information provided..

But, one of my chatfrends told me that PHP Nuke sites are tough to navigate as there are a thousand menus. On the other han, blogs and *plain* HTML sites(sites which dont use PHP) r easy to read and navigate. But, blogs r limited in its editing capability and HTML pages are difficult to update unlike PHP Nuke. So...if I wanna tke anyone of these, its gonna be a tough decision.
I see no one has ever voted in the poll. If u dont have the *guts* to judge which is the best, just vote for the one u have and luv. Pls participate in the poll.

You can create a successful site with any of them. They're are going to be advantaes and disadvantages to just about anything you use to build a site. Those adavantages and disafvanatges will also depend on the type of site you have and your skills. If you don't know how to code a site well you'd probably find more advantages to a CMS like php nuke. If you're good with writing code you might find it easier to just edit the files directly and not find as much value in a CMS.
None are inherently better than the others. It depends on what you want to use them for.
As for the poll it's not about guts. You just haven't asked a question where any of the answers is a valid choice. There's really nothing to vote for. My answer would be none of the above.

"the point" is missing you by a million miles. What makes the difference between a site that uses PHP and one that doesn't? what if it uses ASP ? does that make it better or worse than PHP or HTM or ASP.NET or ColdFusion or Perl, or uses a URL rewriting so you have no idea what server side code it uses with investigating further.
Quite honestly you are not asking for opinions, you are asking for our approval so it's someone elses fault if it doesn't work.
You are doomed to failure until you get rid of this search engine thinking and start considering users! They are the ones who may click on your adverts, They are the ones who may put a link to your site somewhere.

There isn't one valid point in the above statement
Any site can be easy or difficult to navigate.
Any site can be easy or difficult to update
but why are you bothering with these question? You have made your mind up already, but as I said earlier you want approval to use PHPNuke.
Well I'm afraid you won't get it!
Use it if YOU want to, it's your decision and your choice.

People gave you advice. I don't know how "expert" the advice was, but it was definately good solid advice.
The software you use to deliver your information will have no effect on how many visitors you get or how you rank in search engines. The only thing that mattters are the words this software displays. So there is no answer to the question you asked, And even if someone did answer, it's just thier opinion and is no more important than asking people what font is best..

I know that. But, I'm having a hard time deciding which I should use. Would it kill u to giv me a suggestion ? Just giv me a suggestion. Even if its correct or wrong, I dont care. I just want what u feel. Taking my poll is just a click away and I dont think u'll loose that much bandwidth to participate in it.

use a CMS
ANY CMS! it truly does not matter in the slightest, a "blog" script is still a CMS.
Pick one that YOU are comfortable with and find simple to use.
if PHP is the code you can run look at Mambo, Joomla, Wordpress etc.
use the FTP feature of blogger/blogspot to publish pages to another host as HTM pages. The possibilities are endless.
Do some research, Put some thought into it instead of posting pointless polls with questions that have no answer apart from "none of them" or "all of them" being equally valid.
You want to use this to make some money, so YOU put the work in first.
As pointed out in one of your other threads on the same/similar subject, if we knew what would work best and make money do you not think that we would be doing it already and not sharing the nice little niche with all and sundry.
To make real money you have to be there first and if you are the 5th, 500th or the 10,000th person to copy the idea TOUGH. You get the droppings!
BTW you aren't going by the handle of abt123 at HR ( http://www.highrankings.com/forum/in...howtopic=22961 ) are you ??

astrojith I'm glad you made a choice and I hope you understand why we can't decide for you. We are trying to help, but we can only advise you so much.
If it means anything my site is mostly php that I coded by hand. I've also added a WordPress blog. I have no intention of adding any other CMS system, but only because I'd rather update files directly rather than let the CMS update the files. That doesn't mean you can't use one, just that it doens't make sense for me. I'll probably add other things to my site though in time. Maybe a forum or some other application if I think it can help the site in some way.
Chris is right though when he says to build your site for the people who will visit. That doens't mean you shouldn't do things for search engines, but the search engines should come second. Always build a site for the people who will use it first.

There's nothing wrong with using a CMS and using one doesn't make you lazy. I use a blog on my site so I can focus on writing posts and not have to spend as much time on the code. I'll use open source scripts whenever possible to save time. I don't think that makes me lazy at all. It just gives me time to focus on other things. No reason to reinvent the wheel. The one they came up with works pretty well.

You can earn from any of these provided that you have good content. I will vote for a Blog and a PHP Site since I am using it. but you can earn equally from other sites as well
