I have been sent an email saying my adsense has been disabled for false clicks. I have not clicked an ad falsly once because I know google arn't thick. Does anybody know what I can do to resolve this?
Send them an email and ask them if they can give you any info on what may have happened, You may be able to provide an answer. Then ask them if you can get back into adsense.
Keep your appeal short, Don't tell them how long you have been in adsense, And don't threaten to boycott them.
I got accused of false click too, and was canceled from the program. When I appealed to Google and explained that there is no chance anyone in my organization was creating false click (there weren't even very many, roughly $100 worth), the responded by writing that false clicks may or may not be the reason; however, they maintain the right to cancel me for any reason, and then asked that I not contact them for a better answer because they would not elaborate.
Very strange. Now I am looking into other programs.
I've often wondered ... what happens to your $100 (some of which presumeably was passed on as costs to advertisers during the duration of your adsense campaign) Does Google refund the advertisers on whose ads you supposedly clicked fraudulently....?
They say so, but how are the advertisers to know. One person that added a campain for my website says they recieved nothing back. It was costing them £8/day to advertise on my site. My Adsense had an income of aprox $1-$3 a day. Therefore $3/£2 in googles back pocket. Also theres NO WAY that that ad was the ONLY ad ever clicked on my site!
Doubtful your PR drop had anything to do with Adsense. Google did make an update to toolbar PR not long ago and any drop was more likely due to the update.
